what cookies are you baking?
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me. It's National Cookie Day! A great way to celebrate is by baking Christmas cookies.
What is your favorite kind?
got brown shoes?
Then, today is your day!
"Wear Brown Shoes Day" is celebrated on December 4th of each year.
We can only assume that in order to adequately celebrate Wear Brown Shoes Day is to wear brown shoes. We don’t think your brown shoes have to match the rest of your outfit, just as long as your shoes are brown. So, get out there and wear brown shoes.

are you on the "Naughty or Nice" list?
Today is Santa's List Day
Santa Claus is Coming to Town song:
He’s making a list
and checking it twice.
He’s going to find out who’s naughty and nice.
Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.
and checking it twice.
He’s going to find out who’s naughty and nice.
Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town.
He sees when you’re sleeping.
He knows when you’re awake.
He knows if you’ve been bad or good.
So be good for goodness sake!
He knows when you’re awake.
He knows if you’ve been bad or good.
So be good for goodness sake!
You better watch out!
Better not cry!
Better not pout!
I’m telling you why,
Santa Claus is comin’ to town.
Better not cry!
Better not pout!
I’m telling you why,
Santa Claus is comin’ to town.

got cookies?
- December 4, 2011 is
- It’s National Cookie Day! Did you know that the English word "cookie" is derived from the Dutch word "koekje," which means little cake? Dutch bakers used to test oven temperatures on small amounts of batter so that they would not waste the entire cake mix if the temperature wasn't right. It was not long before they discovered that these tiny pieces of cooked batter were actually quite tasty!Cookies come in all different flavors, shapes, and sizes. To celebrate National Cookie Day, bake a few batches of your favorite kind and invite your friends over for a cookie swap!punchbowl.com
